Garrett Keast’s career was launched in 2012 with performances of  Faust at the Opéra National de Paris,  Blood House by Georg Friedrich Haas at Bonn Opera, and  The Magic Flute at Deutsche Oper Berlin. Garrett Keast enjoys a highly successful career in Europe. The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the MDR Symphony Orchestra Leipzig, the Belgian National Orchestra among others. He was born in Houston, Texas and was mentored by Christoph Eschenbach at the Houston Symphony Orchestra.

A talented leader, Garrett Keast is invited to the most prestigious orchestras. Engagements have included, among others, the Tonkünstler Orchestra Vienna, German Symphony Orchestra Berlin, Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, SWR Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart, Philharmonic State Orchestra Hamburg, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Baden-Baden Philharmonic, Orchester de Paris, Orchester National Bordeaux Aquitaine, Atlanta Symphony The Royal Danish Orchestra, the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, the Odense Symphony Orchestra, the Prague Philharmonia, the Finnish National Opera Orchestra, and the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Aspen and Pacific Music Festivals.

The young director studied at the Aspen and Tanglewood Music Festival and was awarded the  Bruno Walter Career Development Grantduring his tenure as Associate Conductor of the New York City Opera. Garrett Keast has served as assistant conductor at the Opéra National de Paris, the Vienna State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and has often served as Christoph Eschenbach’s musical assistant for orchestra tours and opera productions.

Unless otherwise noted, concerts are held at Bass Performance Hall. Friday and Saturday concerts are held at 7:30pm and Sunday concerts at 2:00pm.
