Originally open from 2004 thru 2011, the Moon Bar is one of Fort Worth’s most celebrated live music venues and one of America’s premiere college bars (as seen inside the pages of Maxim, Playboy, & The Skiff). Having hosted hundreds of national touring bands & some of the best music acts in North Texas, the Moon was known for it’s stiff drinks and awesome mix of music — as well as it’s diverse, beautiful, and funky Fort Worth crowd.

Fast forward to Nov. 9 2019 — the Moon Bar is back where it belongs, on W. Berry Street, just a block from the TCU campus and just minutes from downtown Fort Worth. Convienently located at the intersection of W. Berry St and 8th Ave/Cleburne Rd junction, this beautiful new location has an indoor rock n roll cocktail lounge, a huge dog-friendly outdoor beer garden, TVs to watch all the games, and tons of free parking…. Yes you heard that right, tons of free parking!
A grand opening celebration is set for Nov. 9, serving as TCU vs Baylor gameday headquarters that morning & with DJ Son of Stan ( a Grammy winner we might add ) rocking the turn-tables for our inaugural opening night dance party. With multiple food trucks on hand, drink specials, and special guests slated, this is going to be an evening for the ages in Fort Worth bar history.
